We are waiting at Jim and Diane’s house before the their farewell service begins. Beginning times for services/functions are quite fluid round here. A 9am beginning could actually mean anything from 9.30 to 10am.
Yesterday we visited a local Farmers market which had a good deal of local African crafts and produce. We enjoyed purchasing assorted gifts to take home.
We had a final visit to Area 47 church and most of the roof was on. So good to see how the funding from NZ has been used.
For dinner we ate at a local Indian restaurant to celebrate our time with Jim and Diane but also Marie’s 70th birthday which is tomorrow when we leave.
About time to walk to church – now 9.40!
