We feel truly blessed to have visited the Kabadula area and joined with local men, women & children in sharing worship, testimonies and crafts (us helping them paint scarves). This proved a challenge we had not envisaged in that we were working in a dusty open building!!! Think white material, red dusty uneven ground, women unable to write – BUT willing, smiling and appreciative. The younger children coloured praying hands we had with delight, and were thrilled to be given balloons. Our men shared testimonies with locals under a tree outside the Pastor’s home. We were then treated to a lovely meal of rice, beans, meat and greens. Poor as they are we warmly welcomed, and had a wonderful experience with the help of our lovely interpreters, Eunice, Annie and Pastor Tom.
